BARETE
Barete is a gluten-free tapas bar in the heart of Sant Antoni, Barcelona, designed as an intimate, neighbourhood-friendly space where casual conviviality meets thoughtful design. The concept, “An Ode to the 70’s,” blends space-age elements with traditional 70’s details, from original lamps to hi-fi music equipment and vinyl records.
The interior design maximises the narrow space to offer an intimate experience for couples while at the same time accommodating groups of friends. Stripped flooring reveal the building’s original character, while the wood panels and details enhance warmth and comfort. Handmade details, attention to quality food, and a close-knit service team reinforce Barete’s welcoming spirit.
