Sanna Völker is a Swedish-born designer of objects and furniture based in Barcelona. ​

Her work can be described as a search for equilibrium between rawness and refinement, harmony and intrigue. Her designs often draw reference to architecture, manifested in furniture and objects of pure shapes.

Sanna is passionate about craft and how traditional materials or techniques can be transformed into contemporary pieces. In collaboration with brands and galleries, she explores a range of materials and processes.

Sanna combines her work as a designer with curatorial work - where she addresses topics such as community, localism, gender equality and preservation of crafts - and by teaching product and furniture design at Istituto Europeo di Design‎ (IED) and Elisava Barcelona. ​
